Share
On May 26th, the Vila Galé Ópera in Lisbon was the chosen venue for the 3rd edition of START-EAT-UP, a movement that continues to make its mark on the restaurant sector in Portugal with relevant themes, inspiring speakers, and an audience eager for transformation, knowledge, and innovation.

With a clear focus on the importance of Management, Brand Creation, and Digital Presence, this edition was specially designed for those who want to build strong brands, learn to communicate consistently, and adapt to the challenges and opportunities present in the digital world.

In an industry where competition is fiercer and consumers are increasingly demanding, having a relevant brand and an effective online presence is no longer a luxury – it's a strategic necessity/obligation.
This edition featured a range of leading professionals who shared their experiences and strategies in inspiring and practical sessions.
Rafael Ribeiro, marketing manager of the Starfoods Group, discussed the strategic and growth vision present in one of the Group's brands, Domino's, almost like a behind-the-scenes look at strategic marketing in restaurant brands, with real-world examples and lessons on sustained growth.

Pedro Matos (Plot Marketing Agency) (left) and João Santos (Must.pt) (right) brought to the stage, “Brand at the table: how to gain relevance in the digital world”, a moment powered by RECHEIO, where ways to establish a presence in the digital world were presented.

Saulo Cardoso from Fogão Gaúcho and Pedro Cardoso from Solar dos Presuntos, showed how their journey in this sector has been and continues to be, a sector that is constantly transforming and renewing itself as technology evolves.

Telmo Taipa and Nadine Marques from ADECI Group, with a more data-driven approach, demonstrated the impact of paid advertising in the online world and how it leverages businesses that use these tools, as well as ways for entrepreneurs to anticipate their business needs through ADECI.

More than just a series of lectures on different topics, START-EAT-UP once again reveals itself as a space for sharing, networking, and opportunities, where participants can learn through real-world case studies and find practical tools to apply to their businesses.
The relaxed atmosphere, combined with the depth of the content, provides a complete and transformative experience, reinforcing the event's commitment to the future of the restaurant industry in Portugal.

After 3 successful editions – Estoril, Porto and Lisbon – the START-EAT-UP movement continues to grow. The next edition will head north once again, with new themes and challenges, always with the same objective: to empower, inspire and connect restaurant professionals.
